In this study; it has been investigated how the legal regulations such as the abolition of the principle of reciprocity with the law number 6302, the facilitation of the real estate purchasing procedures, financial incentives – implementation of the exemptions affect the real estate possession of the foreigners. The independent sections sold for foreigners in the years of 2012 – 2018 have been examined on the basis of the preferred cities and the countries that the foreigners depend on by way of cartographic maps and graphics. The economic indicators which will be able to reveal the economic situation of Turkey during this period have been examined through graphics. In conclusion, it is seen that the economic indicators in Turkey in the years of 2012 – 2018 do not have a positive picture so as to increase the foreigners purchasing real estate. It has been determined that the legal regulations have come to the foreground as the determinative factor affecting the rapid increase of the number of the real estates that the foreigners have bought after the year of 2012 in Turkey.
